If you’ve been in this business long enough, you’ll see link building/SEO software come and go. I’ve heard it before: “fishing lures don’t catch fish, they catch fisherman”. Well, the same could be true for link building software – they’re not meant to attract software, just hook internet marketers”. I very particular when I buy products, and critical of most SEO software out on the market, I decided to give EdwinSoft’s Ultimate Demon a whirl and I have to say, I really like it.

As you’ll notice there are no affiliate links on this page. What I hope is the information will be of value and in exchange you’ll explore some of the other services we can offer you. Now, with that in mind, I’ll keep it short an to the point and provide you some other options so you can make the decision for yourself.

Why I Decided to Buy Ultimate Demon

Like most internet marketers, I have used a ton of software. Some good, some bad, but most really bad. I currently use both BookmarkingDemon and ArticleDemon (after I got tired of using AMR, glad I made the switch). You can say it’s kind of my business to check out software and relay the experience to you, my loyal readers. Anyway, I have always like previous EdwinSoft products and I was looking for a replacement for SE Nuke. Why did I stop using SE Nuke? Well, aside from the price, I could do about 30 SE Nuke X gigs on Fiverr per month without using the software. A word of caution if you’re doing this, make sure you screen your SE Nuker, some are really good and others are not worth the $5 to hit submit.

Like I said, I liked previous EdwinSoft products and I was interested replacing SE Nuke X. The monthly subscription for Ultimate Demon is a palatable $47 per month versus $147 a month for SE Nuke X. Besides, I decided if I didn’t like the program I would take advantage of EdwinSofts “30 day money back guarantee”, which I did use after I purchased CommentDemon.

Ultimate Demon versus SE Nuke X

The internet is a landmine of bad information and a gold mind of knowledge. When I began my research for Ultimate Demon I noticed two divided camps. On one side you had those who find it sacrilegious that any product would even be compared to SE Nuke X. On the other side you find those who felt EdwinSoft’s Ultimate Demon was a good alternative.  Let me be clear here, SE Nuke is a fine product, but it takes a really long time to master. If you’re a weekend SEO’er, or you have a few sites and this is part hobby, part long term business, SE Nuke is probably not for you. Hell, think about it, you would have to make $1,764 a year just to cover the cost of an SE Nuke X subscription. Did you make that last year from your affiliate commissions, autoblogs, Ad Sense, ect? Most have not, but even the few that have are looking for a cheaper alternative, it’s called controlling your OPEX.

Perhaps the most frustrating thing I found was all the misleading information. Sites like Pro IM Blogger give an inadequate (if not completely inaccurate) review of the product. In fact, the information about Ultimate Demon is so bad, I’m certain the reviewer never even purchased Ultimate Demon.

Ultimate Demon “Bonus”: Buyer Beware

If there is one thing I hate, it is when people are hawking shit and acting like it is of some value. For example, one site  offers a bunch of Pligg, Article Directories, PLR Articles, PR Templates, SMF sites, scrapped proxies, ect, ect.

ALL CRAP.

I can tell you from experience, unless they are willing to give you their own scrubbed list, all you’re going to get is a bunch of dead sites, duplicate sites, malicious sites and disappointment. Scrapped proxies are worthless, PLR are worthless too. In fact, PLR articles can to your site more harm than good. C’mon, do you really think you’re getting “fresh”, hot off the press PLR articles? These things have been used more than a Playboy during Vietnam.

Junk. But this is how these sites position it, “articles fully written for you”. All junk.

Look, either ask the person to give you their own scrubbed list, or go to fiverr and get an updated and current list of bookmarking sites, article directories, simple machine forum(SMF) sites, etc. In fact, you can get over 600,000 “fully written articles” for $10, if not $5 on fiverr. I’m speaking from experience here. I purchased 220,000 “fully written articles” and after reading them I was convinced they were composed by a 5 year old and then spun by a monkey. Your readers deserve better, you deserve better, your hard drive deserves better. It took me over 37,000 bookmarking sites to get 4,000 bookmarking sites loaded into BMD and UD, and that’s good.

What is The Best Ultimate Demon Site?

The game is still early, but if you want a good site that is going to give you good information, provide you with screen shots and product videos, the only two sites I can recommend is EdwinSoft’s site  or Ultimate Demon Review. If you’re itching for a bonus, Ultimate Demon Review has the best bonus hands down. They actually took the time to scrub the lists which gives you unique sites to load into Ultimate Demon. If you stumble on others sites that offer you a “bonus” make sure the list are cleaned up and unique.

When you’re buying this any type of link building software, forgo the sales pitch and buy the products on its merits alone. Good information is becoming scarce on the internet. If you find a good source of information reward the site owners by giving them your business. Otherwise, you’re encouraging marketing tactics that rarely have the end-users best interest in mind.

Where you decide to get you information for Ultimate Demon is your choice, but I hope I shed some light on the matter. Again, I use use Ultimate Demon, it’s a good, stable software for a more than reasonable price.

That brings me to Article Builder (yes, it is an affiliated link….help a brother out. ). Article builder is Jon Leger’s newest product that parses PLR articles and weaves them together to create a whole new spinnable article. Has VigLink Made It Too Simple?

Turning on VigLink’s link insertion functionality is really simple. All you have to do is login to your account, click on Features, scroll down the page about half way and click on the sliding bar that says “off” and mover it over to “on”. The top bar will change from red to green. Viola, done.

This sound great, right?  Well, when I first tried it out on a test blog the link insertion tool began linking my H1 & H2 titles. In the world of search eingine optimiztion, this is no bueno.

The other issue I see with the link insertion feature is the glaring lack of control about what is linked and what is not. For example, when testing link insertion, I was unable to exclude certain pages like my About and T&C pages. Adding this feature would be a huge benefit, even if it meant creating a better WordPress  plug-in. Now granted, VigLink’s whole value prop revolves around making affiliate marketing easy. It true there really is not better show in town, but despite my laziness, I still would like more control.

 What Is the Verdict About VigLink’s Link Insertion Tool?

I really like the concept and the new feature allows VigLink to compete with the likes of SkimLinks, but the feature does need a few more advanced controls. Among my wishlist is:

1. The ability to control what pages are used.
2. Exclude feature for certain words/phrases.
3. Exclude all title tags (H1, H2, ect.).
4. Allow me to define Page Category versus Site Category
5. Build out a robust WordPress Plug-in to compliment Link Insertion.

My suspicion is VigLink will address most of the issues discussed and credit JammingSites for all the improvements (joking). Until then, I’ll still use VigLinks, but will have to forego link insertion for now. As of this post, there really is not an easier tool to use and impliment when it comes to monetizing your sight.

Of course, don’t take my word for it, give VigLink a try and see if it fit’s your needs.

One of the first lessons I learned about making money online is you better use a premium worpress theme to make any serious progress. Enter Templatic Themes.

Don’t think for an instant you will make money online if you code and design your own websites.  I just won’t happen.  Consider this, if your average site generates $10-$20 a month, you will need at least 50-100 websites to generate $1000. Granted some sites will make far more than $10-$20, but I use this as an approximation. So unless you’re a complete expert in coding websites don’t waste your time. It didn’t take me long to know that using wordpress templates is the only way efficient way to make money on the internet. But not just any theme will do and unless your using a premium WordPress theme you sites are going to look amateurish at best.

Do You Need to Know HTML to Make Money Online?

The short answer is no, but it is helpful. If you’re into DIY projects, you know there is only so far you can go to creating a professional looking job. To do the job right it takes experience, the right tools and alot of situational “know-how”.  Coding HTML or any other web designing language takes the same level of expertise if the job is going to look great.  Now, I do recommend getting familiar enough with the language. You don’t have to become a coding ninja, just under what the code is saying, even if you don’t know how to “speak it”.

What is the Best WordPress Theme to Make Money?

This all depends on your money making strategy. For example, I have a site that relies heavily on user participation, so I use a theme that allows users to interact with one another. I have an article directory site that uses a a theme specifically designed for article submission. Templatice designed both of the aforementioned themes and they work really well. So let me answer the question this way: find a money making niche, determine the functionality needed, find a reputable theme builder such as Templatic.

What Should I Look for When Selecting a Premium Theme?

There are so may crappy theme designers out there it is hard to decide who to go with.  Here is my quick guide to selecting a good theme designer.

1. Stay away from gimmicky vendors. If they insinuate they can make you a ton of money online, stay away.  SEO good content and a well defined niche market make you money, not a the theme.
2. They must support their product and have a support link on their website.  I also like to see a phone number just for kicks. Many premium theme designers offer clubs, I happen to like them since they update existing themes and rely on subscription revenue to update and develop new themes.  I like when a company is committed to their product.
3. Easy to install. I’ve downloaded a few themes and had the most difficult time installing them. Themes designers like Templatic are the closest to one-click install I’ve seen on the market.
4. The theme must be lightweight in terms of coding. Having clean code will not only give you a better performing site, but also give you better load times, which Google likes to see.
5. You get what you pay for, so avoid free themes. There are many free themes and they have their merits, but you should avoid if possible. Many have outgoing links and some even have coding that is suspect at best. The good new is many of the premium themes you purchase will allow you to install them on unlimited sites.
6. Whatever theme you select, make sure it is SEO optimized, or at least make sure you’re using a wordpress plugin that help your SEO efforts.
